Throat Scope.

Hubby had to have a throat scope I don't remember the technical term. They sedated him and stuck a tube down his throat into his stomach. They said he might even stay awake, but the medication was strong and knocked him out. So much that he didn't remember anything until after being back in recovery with me. It didn't take long at all.

They did a biopsy of his stomach because it was red and irritated. They said probably "Gastritis". We haven't heard anything yet. So I suppose it wasn't that bad. He was up and ready to go in less than a half hour after the procedure, but they made us wait until after about 45 minutes and we were off. He didn't have any adverse reactions or pain. The medication did make him tired.
