Sleep study second part

The results from the sleep study came back hubby has severe obstructive sleep apnea. They told him he stopped breathing an average of 34 times an hour! I couldn't believe it. People have died from sleep apnea. His oxygen level drops to around 70 when he sleeps. That is considered really low. This is not good. He will have to have a cpap machine. To help him. The plus for us no more snoring! I don't know how loud the machine is though. It doesn't matter he needs it.

He just had the second sleep study yesterday to determine what levels the machine needs to be set at. Once the doctor gets the results and orders the machine we can get it from a home medical place. It will cost us a lot. Two hundred and fifty dollar deductible then the insurance pays %80. Which is better than none, but we already live on a tight budget. I guess I will have to be more careful what I buy! We aren't the most frugal! But I am working on that!
